JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking for more victims after they arrested a contractor on organized fraud charges this past weekend.
JSO Economic Crimes Unit detectives are searching for more potential victims of Johan Portilla-Guzman, according to a press release.
JSO says Portilla-Guzman owns a business called Pro-Remodeling. Police say he “has been known to pose as a licensed contractor to homeowners” and then scam the customers out of tens of thousands of dollars.
JSO is asking that anyone who has ever worked with Portilla-Guzman or Pro-Remodeling and experienced fraud, email JSOCrimeTips@JaxSheriff.org.
